Additional Details On Upcoming Google Nexus Phone Leaked

Additional information about the upcoming Google Nexus phone was leaked recently. Earlier reports indicated that two new phones may be released by the online search giant before the end of the year.

LG Electronics may design one of these phones. The South Korean company designed the Nexus 4 as well as the Nexus 5, before Motorola was tapped to produce the Nexus 6. The second phone will reportedly be designed by Huawei, which is making waves in a number of markets due to the low-cost smartphones it produces.

This will be the first time two Google Nexus phones will be released into the market simultaneously, if the reports are proven true. The reported release of two phones by Google indicates that the company is attempting to follow the lead of Apple, which released the iPhone 6 as well as the iPhone 6 Plus at around the same time. The LG-designed phone may feature a 5.2-inch screen display while the phone designed by Huawei may have a 5.7-inch display.

The smaller screen size of the upcoming models shows that the company may be aiming to make the phones more practical for consumers who are not too thrilled with large-sized phones.

Evan Blass, who is more popular for his @evleaks Twitter handle, leaked the supposed details of the Huwei-designed Google Nexus phone. The leak indicated that the upcoming device will feature a 5.7-inch QHD display with a screen resolution of 2500x 1440. It will also come with a metal body and will be powered by a Snapdragon 820 processor. Blass added that the phone will also feature a fingerprint reader and will be unveiled near the end of the year.

While the supposed 5.7-inch screen of the upcoming phone was already leaked in the past, some reports did not give the possible fourth-quarter launch of the device. The track record of Blass when it comes to leaks has added fuel to the fire that the phone may enter the market soon. No statements were released by the online search giant in connection to the reported upcoming release of the next Google Nexus phone.
