Career Of Celine Dion Put On Hold For Her Husband

Celine Dion announced recently that she was putting her career on hold due to the cancer of her husband as well as her own illness. A statement of the social media accounts and website of the singer indicated that her Asian tour was taken out her schedule.

The statement also showed that the 46-year-old singer will focus her attention on her husband, her family and other health issues. Rene Angelil, husband of Dion, went through surgery last December to take out a cancerous tumor in his throat. The illness compelled him to step aside as the manager of his wife in June.

The statement added that the couple has gone through a stressful and difficult time as they try to manage challenges every day as they fight the disease while coping with the busy schedule of the singer. In addition, Celine Dion and her husband have to raise their three children.

The singer is dealing with an illness that caused her throat muscles to become inflamed. She has been incapable of performing any scheduled show since her July 29 show in Las Vegas. The shows of Dion at The Colosseum at Caesar’s Palace are very popular since she went back to Las Vegas around three years ago.

The singer revealed that she wanted to devote all of her energy and strength to her husband, which makes it essential for her to focus her time for him and their children. She expressed her apologies to her fans around the world. She also thanked her fans for their continued love and support.

The relationship between the couple started when the singer was 19 and Agelili was 45. They have three sons and have lived in Las Vegas for the past three years.

Celine Dion retired for a short time in 1999 when her husband was dealing with throat cancer.
