Jimmy Fallon and wife Nancy Juvonen welcomed a new family member in the form of a baby girl. The baby girl is the second child of the couple. She was born perfectly healthy this Wednesday, December 3 according to an official NBC release.

The Tonight Show star and his wife gave a press release in which they confirmed that Frances Cole Fallon was born on December 3 at 8:45 a.m. The two also shared their daughter’s weight and height which register at 5 lbs, 11 ounces and 18.5 inches long.

The young couple chose to keep news of the pregnancy a secret from the media until the birth actually happened. Frances will now join bigger sister Winnie Rose who is 1 year of age. Both Frances Cole as well as Winnie Rose were born via a surrogate.

NBC reported the news and Tonight Show schedule problems with great joy saying that because of “unexpected but delightful circumstances, “The Tonight Show” host had to cancel taping until Friday.

Winnie Rose, the couple’s first child was born in the summer of 2013. Fallon, 40, said that being a parent wasn’t easy but was visibly delighted with his small bundle of joy. He said that while having a small baby is tiring it isn’t exhausting, as the excitement of  “what she does next” keeps both parents on the move.
