Cancer Cure. A recent breakthrough has been discovered about Tumeric, the main ingredient of curry, and its cancer healing attributes. For centuries already, Turmeric has been regarded as a holy powder in India. It has been praised in ancient times for its healing powers. Growing number of evidences and studies have shown its anti-inflammatory effects that slows down bleeding and a good remedy for many known ailments including cancer.

A study conducted by researchers at Jonsson Comprehensive Cancer Center in UCLA will publish Thursday the result of a study linking turmeric as a good cancer cure.  The result indicates curcumin, turmeric's main component, has the ability to change effectively human saliva molecular behavior and thus slows down mouth cancer growth. There were also previous studies suggesting curcumin as an effective treatment for various cancer types.

This new discovery will help scientist in its hope to fully integrate curcumin as part of the known treatment for cancer. Since 2005, the team from UCLA has started studying curcumin's healing attributes after it has shown an evidence of its cancer-fighting attributes. The team sampled the saliva of 21 people who are suffering from either head or neck cancers before they went into the process of experimentation.

Researchers will try to incorporate tumeric in the whole cancer treatment process to further strengthen the chemotherapy effects and slows down cancer growth in the body. Dr Marilene Wang exclaimed eating foods with tumeric is still not enough.
