Messi Joins Kobe Bryant In Turkish Airlines Commercial

A new ad was released by Turkish Airlines to celebrate the addition of Lionel Messi, soccer great and Barcelona legend as a brand ambassador for the company.

Other brand ambassadors for Turkish Airlines include basketball superstar Kobe Bryant and tennis player Caroline Wozniacki.

The commercial shows an eager young sports fan willing to get an autograph, who’s being lured back and forth through a Turkish Airline plane by Lionel Messi and Kobe Bryant.

Each of the two athletes tries to outdo each other by showing their skill in juggling a basketball or a football, and when all else fails they resort to more unconventional methods, that include balloon animals and card castles.

The commercial will be visible worldwide by the end of this year. This is the continuation of a very visible ad campaign starring sport greats like Kobe Bryant, that should increase the airlines exposure and sales.

Other than their marketing campaign, rumors that a potential deal is about to be made between German giants Lufthansa and Turkish Airlines should mean that the future is quite bright for the Turkish carrier company.

The potential deal will give each company more exposure to both European and Middle-Eastern markets a move that is sure to increase sales on both sides. So the Kobe Bryant and Lionel Messi ad may be the first in a long line of commercials to increase the companies visibility.
