Renee Zellweger answered speculations on her recent change of appearance by simply saying that she was glad that people think she looks different. Zellweger said she is living a happy and fulfilling life and she is delighted it has become noticeable.

The actress said all the talk about the changes on her face is silly. Talks about the changes emerged following the appearance of the actress at the red carpet during the 21st annual Women in Hollywood event of Elle magazine. She looked different compared to how she looked in “Bridget Jones’ Diary” and “Jerry Maguire. The changes resulted to questions whether it was Zellweger who made an appearance at the event. Some reports indicated that the Academy-nominated actress was practically unrecognizable.

Past and present photos of the actress were also posted along with a note indicating that the person on the two photos was Renee Zellweger. The text pointed out that the two photos were taken from Getty and were posted since some people were asking about the changes in the appearance of the actress. It also indicated that the two photos were positively identified as Zellweger and nothing was remarkable about them.

Since the speculations on her different appearance were reaching a fevered pitch, the actress decided to deal with it. She said that people were trying to find something nefarious about her different appearance. She added that there was nothing nefarious about it and the issue will not disappear until she deals with it.

The actress said her new appearance was due to her healthier lifestyle. She said her friends told her that she looked peaceful and she was healthy.

Zellweger added that she was not doing a good job in taking care of herself for a long time. Renee Zellweger added that her schedule did not allow her to do something about it and it did not allow her to care for herself.
