The Pebble Smart Watch Keeps You Updated

The Pebble smart watch is a smart device that can access via bluetooth your Android or your IOS device so you can get things like notifications right on the watch and you can see the time on it.

The black Pebble version is the one that is most available at this time, they also have a red and a silver version so it comes in three colors. The watch itself comes in a plastic casing and it has a small 144 X 168 pixel black and white e-paper display.

Since it is an e-paper display it works great outside in the sunlight or indoors in low light. The watch has a total of four buttons, three of them are on the right side, the top and bottom one are used for navigation and the once in the center is used for selecting. On the left side there is the back button which will make you go back through the menu's. On the left side is the spot to connect the charger, the actual strap of the watch is made out of rubber which is pretty comfortable and it has plenty of holes so you can change the size and fit of the watch so it can fit on your wrist.

The watch is water proof so if you want to get in a shower or go for a swim you don't have to take the watch off. You will find that this watch as bluetooth 4.1 as well as a vibrating motor and a three axes accelerometer.

As far as battery life goes it lasts around five days so you are probably going to charge this thing about once a week.

Software

To start out using the pebble watch and get it set up you need to download the pebble app from the app store and once you have your download you connect to it via bluetooth and you are ready to go. The pebble app on your smart phone can be used to download different things like watch faces, different little apps and games for the watch as well as software updates and it does this all over the air via bluetooth.

The watch comes in with some really simple games, one of them being snake, you can also control your music on your phone so you can skip forwards and backwards on your smart watch without having to touch your phone at all.

The best part about this watch is that you can get pretty much any kind of notification from your phone right onto your smart watch. If you get a text message on your phone it pops right up on the pebble smart watch so you can read it. Unfortunately you can not reply back to it, another really cool feature of the watch is that it has the ability to set an alarm so it will vibrate and it will let you know if it is going on.
