Zooey Deschanel Attempted To Conceal Baby Bump Before Pregnancy Reports

A few days before reports about her pregnancy came out Zooey Deschanel was spotted attempting to hide her baby bump. The 34-year-old actress donned a long blue-colored coat when she was spotted on January 11. She is pregnant with her first child with Jacob Pechenik, her producer boyfriend.

Reports of her pregnancy were confirmed by her representative. The representative revealed that the New Girl star is excited with her pregnancy. The actress and her boyfriend are expecting the baby by summer.

The news of the pregnancy of the actress comes as her sister, Emily Deschanel, is also expected her second baby together with David Hornsby. Some industry watchers are expecting the pregnancy of Zooey Deschanel to be similar to her sister. Emily revealed recently during a Bones party that she is always thirsty. She added that she had to drink a good amount of water. Since there is a limit to the amount of water she can drink, she started to drink other types of liquids including sparkling water and lemonade. She is also thinking of taking citrus fruits.

Zooey and Jacob Pechenik have been dating since August. They made their public debut as a couple at the red carpet of the 2014 Emmys. Prior to her relationship with Pechenik, Zooey was also linked to Jamie Linden before she married Ben Gibbard, the vocalist of Death Cab for Cutie. The marriage of Zooey Deschanel with Gibbard lasted until 2012.
