AC/DC May Have To Retire

Legendary rock group AC/DC may have to retire after founding member Malcolm Young who is 61 years of age has returned home to Sydney, Australia with his family leaving the band mid-tour.

The newspaper that broke the story reported that Malcolm Young was unable to continue playing and that no one has yet to give any reasons or announce what the band’s future may hold. The only person tied to the band or Young who addressed the issue was lead singer Brian Johnson who spoke on a Florida radio station about the situation. According to Johnson “one of the boys” was feeling ill so the band and the people around the band kept quite out of respect for Young’s privacy.

The sudden decision to rush home left people guessing about the band’s future with several important radio personalities declaring that this may be the end with no future AC/DC albums or live performances.

Such alarmist news may not be completely true as Brian Johnson declared at the beginning of 2014 that the band are recording new material and may be on the road again to celebrate their incredible 40 year anniversary.

The band started by brothers Malcolm and Angus Young even booked some studio time in Vancouver this May. While not official, an anonymous source close to the band declared all news regarding AC/DC are just rumors.
