Amber Heard And Johnny Depp Divorcing

US court documents show that Johnny Depp and Amber Heard are divorcing. The 30-year-old actress filed for divorce from the movie star due to irreconcilable differences at the Los Angeles Superior Court.

The two stars, who got married around fifteen months ago, have no children. The two were involved recently in a legal case in Australia. The case emerged after Heard illegally brought their two dogs into the country. The actress was charged with falsifying documents, where she pleaded guilty in April.

The 52-year-old actor met his younger Texan wife on the set of “The Rum Diary” in 2011 where they both starred in. The court papers showed that separation date between Amber Heard and Johnny was on Sunday. A judge was reportedly asked by Depp to reject the claim of Heard for spousal support.

The divorce of the two stars comes a few days after the mother of Johnny Depp passed away. The latest movie of the actor, “Alice through the Looking Glass,” is set to hit the big screen on Friday.

The court case in Australia began last year after Amber Heard brought into the country two of the dogs of the couple. Heard joined Depp in Australia while the actor was filming the latest sequel to the “Pirate of the Caribbean” movie franchise. After a settlement was reached in the case, a video apology was released by the two stars, both of whom expressed regret for what they did and advised travelers to respect the quarantine laws of Australia.

The threat of Deputy Prime Minister Barnaby Joyce of Australia to have the two dogs put down resulted to a months-long word war between the official and Depp. Depp said recently on a TV show in the US that Mr. Joyce appeared to be “inbred with a tomato.” In response, Mr. Joyce said he was pulling the strings on the head of Johnny Depp, similar to what movie bad guy Hannibal Lecter did.
