New Teaser For The Walking Dead Season 6 Released

With the premiere of The Walking Dead Season 6 just a few weeks away, a sneak peak of the zombie drama was released by AMC to tease fans of the series. The 30-second teaser entitled “You Don’t Have A Choice” reveals the threats survivors have to face from zombies and other survivors in the upcoming season.

The new season will feature over 650 zombies, which is a record for the post-apocalyptic zombie series. The core cast members are brought back in the upcoming season, including Chandler Riggs playing Carl, Lauren Cohan playing Maggie, Andrew Lincoln playing Rick, Steven Yeun playing Glenn, Danai Gurira playing Michonne, Norman Reedus playing Daryl, and Melissa McBride playing Carol.

The other cast members of the 16-episode series include Christian Serratos playing Rosita, Lennie James playing Morgan, Sonequa Martin-Green playing Sasha, Alanna Masterson playing Tara, Michael Cudlitz playing Abraham, Seth Gilliam playing Father Gabriel, Ross Marquand playing Aaron, Josh McDermitt playing Eugene, Tovah Feldshuh playing Deanna, Austin Nichols playing Spencer, and Alexandra Breckenridge playing Jesse. The other cast members of The Walking Dead Season 6 are Merritt Wever, Corey Hawkins, and Ethan Embry.

The Walking Dead has already earned eleven Primetime Emmy nominations along with two Primetime Emmy Awards since hit the screen in 2010. The awards were for prosthetic effects and makeup. The series also received a number of Screen Actors Guild Award and Golden Globe nominations. It has become one of the more popular series on cable television in recent years. “The Walking Dead” comic book series served as the inspiration for the cable television series. The comic book was created by Robert Kirkman, Tony Moore and Charlie Adlard. Kirkman has continued writing the comic book series, which is published by Image Comics.

Another series was launched recently through AMC that served as the prequel of the popular drama series, Fear the Walking Dead. The Walking Dead Season 6 will premiere on AMC on October 11.
