Shia LaBeouf Becomes A Meme With Motivational Speech

Shia LaBeouf worked with Nastja Säde Rönkkö and Luke Turner for a new project together with the fine arts school of Central Saint Martins in London. Students provided text for up to thirty seconds for LaBeouf to perform in front of a giant green screen.

The result was a thirty-minute motivational speech from the actor. Andre Smith, a student, said they were interested in using LaBeouf as he engaged in his profession as well as using his celebrity status as a platform for his work. Smith added that LaBeouf moves back and forth from mass audience and the students in the art class, which essentially allowed him to connect these two types of audience.

In the presentation, the actor ranted about not letting dreams remain as dreams, and people should make their dreams come true. With the giant green screen, a number of memes emerged with LaBeouf as the star. These memes included the actor encouraging Luke Skywalker in a scene on Star Wars. It also had the actor being seamlessly placed inside a scene of 2001: A Space Odyssey.

Another meme saw LaBeouf giving encouraging words to William Wallace in Braveheart as well as a pitchman for an infomercial. Shia LaBeouf also became a talker on TED while another meme had him screaming at someone from outside a window.
