“Tree of Life” discovered in Sierra Leone

Sierra Leone, a country with one of the worst health system in the world, has been amazed by a tropical plant now being pushed by its government for the best natural cure for the whole country. The Moringa plant has astonished many Africans for its dynamic nutritional and medical uses. The plant originated in northern India.

Due to its several medical uses, many Africans have already used the plant as a medical alternative thereby calling it as the tree of life. For a continent that has been plagued by worst health and medical condition and poverty, the Moringa plant has brought joy among Africans because aside from curing many ailments and malnutrition, it has created many job opportunities for the poverty stricken continent.

Ernest Koroma, President of Sierra Leone, can testify for Moringa’s effectiveness as he, himself, regularly uses Moringa oil. Jonas Coleman, head of the country’s Moringa Plant Association, is very positive about the plant that even the country’s president has experienced its effectiveness. Sam Sesay, Agriculture head of Sierra Leone, described the plant as the most nutritious plant ever discovered on earth.

Every part of Moringa has medical and nutritional values and with the ability to cure more than 300 known ailments and diseases including diabetes and hypertension. The cultivation of the plant has been highly urged and this might be good news for most Africans who don’t have enough means to afford proper and good medical treatment. The country has been long ravaged by war and with less doctors and nurses in the country. For every 17,000 people in the country, there is only 1 doctor and 1 nurse for every 8,000 people.
