“300: Rise of an Empire” Trailer Shows Fans What To Expect In The Movie
The trailer for “'300: Rise of an Empire,” which was released recently, begins with Xerxes riding a horse over the dead bodies of King Leonidas and his followers. Rodrigo Santoro plays Xerxes while Gerard Butler plays the role of the dead King of Sparta.
Noam Murro, the director of the movie, revealed that the new movie takes place at around the same time as the first movie. The new movie shows a bigger picture of the events that happened in the first movie. The first movie basically shows the details of the sequel.
Murro took over the directorial job from Zack Snyder, who is the producer of the movie. He indicated that a good number of the scenes in “'300: Rise of an Empire” occur in the water. Greek general Themistocles continues the fight of Leonidas. Artemisia leads the Persian naval armada of Themistocles.
Lena Headey plays the role of Queen Gorgo of Sparta. She promises that the sacrifice of her husband will not be in vain.
Queen Gorgo tells her men that it starts with a whisper, a promise. It was a light breeze that moves over the death cries of three hundred men, a breeze that will become a wind. The trailer shows that the upcoming movie will still see the same bloodshed as the first movie.
Aside from Rodrigo Santoro and Lena Headey, the movie also stars Sullivan Stapleton, who plays Themistocles, and Eva Green as Artemisia. “'300: Rise of an Empire” is set to hit the big screen on the 7th of March 2014.
