Talk about a true-to-life windfall!  What will you do with the huge amount of money if you won more than $300 million jackpot?

A lucky person who bought a ticket in Rhode Island for the Powerball lottery is the sole winner of the huge $336.4 million jackpot.

The jackpot amount started at $311 million for the scheduled Saturday’s draw, but the increased lottery sales caused the jackpot amount to swell up to $336 million, which is nearly doubled from the amount on Feb. 1 which is $173.5 million.

The lucky new multimillionaire has not claimed his huge winnings yet, and the lottery office would not divulge where the winning ticket has been sold, obviously, for security reasons. In order to win, the player had to have a perfect match all of Saturday’s five digits, 1-10-3752-57, and Powerball number 11.

For the Wednesday draw, the Powerball jackpot amount is now up to $40 million, which started out at $20 million before the ticket price doubled.

Powerball is played in 42 states, the U.S. Virgin Islands and Washington, D.C.
