Paris Hilton’s obsessed fan arrested after violating restraining order
Malibu, California — Actress, heiress and socialite Paris Hilton has always been hounded by numerous paparazzi and other media people wherever she goes. Unfortunately, with her popularity, she is also unable to escape the hounding of a few obsessed fans wanting to own a piece of her personal stuff or see the heiress themselves.
Last Monday afternoon, a man was arrested by the Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputies. They have reason to believe that the man who goes by the name James Rainford has violated the restraining order filed against him by Hilton. The said restraining order prevents him from coming within 200 yards (180 meters) of Hilton or her home.
A phone call was made to notify the sheriff’s department that a man, fitting the description of Rainford, was standing on a beach and looking into Hilton’s Malibu home. They responded to the call and arrested Rainford who was identified by the paparazzi present in the said area.
The accused was held for a $20,000 bail. Last April, Rainford pleaded guilty for the alleged attack to the then-boyfriend of Hilton, Cy Waits.
Recently, another man was also convicted for trying to rob the house of Hilton, the said man was sentenced to two years in prison.
