An 8-year-old missing kid found dead and dismembered

Leiby Kletzky, an 8-year-old Orthodox Jewish child went missing last Monday afternoon. According to his parents, he was scheduled to meet his mother on a street corner seven blocks from his day camp and that this is the first time he was allowed to go on his own, little did they know, a tragedy is waiting to happen to the young boy.

The young boy might have missed a turn, getting lost on his way and attempted to reach out to someone for help, which didn't turn out to be a good idea. The investigators found a surveillance video of the boy getting into a car with a man beside a dentist's office, they were able to track the dentist who made his records available to them, which led to a suspect's arrest before 3 am Wednesday.

The evidence led the police to the house of 35-year-old Levi Aron, and when they asked him, the question, 'Where is the boy?” he just nodded toward the kitchen. In there lies the stuff that would only be seen in gruesome horror films, severed feet which is wrapped in plastic, a cutting board, three bloody carving knives and a plastic bag with bloody towels.

Aron told the police where the rest of the body is located. The young kid was dismembered and the pieces were wrapped in plastic bags inside a red suitcase tossed in a trash bin in a nearby Brooklyn neighborhood.

The news of the gruesome killing shocked the community in Borough Park, since this part is considered to be a no-crime area and one of the safest sections of the city. The medical authorities still didn't have the exact reason how the kid died but there were no signs of sexual assault. Aron was charged with second-degree murder.
