Paris Hilton Wants To Become A DJ

Paris Hilton, the blonde hotel heiress and socialite, wants to become a DJ according to celebrity news site TMZ. Specifically, she apparently wants to eventually become recognized as "the most powerful female house music DJ of all time."

She is said to be in Ibiza recording with the French house music producer and DJ David Guetta. The two will reportedly release their collaboration towards the end of 2011.

Paris Hilton apparently wants to become a trailblazer for women in the house music scene. Recently, she had been training with pals like DJ Afrojack and DJ Deadmau5.

This is not the first time that the wannabe-DJ forayed into music. She had released the dance album "Paris" in 2006 which featured the single "Stars Are Blind" which reached the top ten charts in 17 countries. She later formed her own music label called Heiress Records.

The 30-year old Paris Hilton is the great-granddaughter of Conrad Hilton who founded Hilton Hotels. Aside from the pedigree, she had become famous for her work as a model, reality TV star, film roles and fashion business line.

She have had her share of controversies such as the Paris Hilton sex tape and run-ins with the law, including a probation sentence for DUI. She later served a jail term in 2007 for violating the conditions of her probation.

Paris Hilton seemed to turn shame into more fame as she went from modeling and acting and then into singing and writing. Her list of endorsements grew, including the successful Paris Hilton fragrance and handbag line.
