Surviving in the Woods for Years: Son and Father Tells How
Survived 5 years in the Woods - An English-speaking teenager has currently caught the attention of the media after police in Berlin began investigation a very intriguing story. The boy appeared last week in the German capital saying he lived with his father in the woods for more than 5 years. The statement was confirmed Friday by the media through a spokesperson.
Michael Maass, the spokesperson, said the boy is approximately 17 years old. He was seen to surprisingly appear in the city hall of Berlin before he was taken to a youth emergency center. The boy told the authorities that he was brought by his father to the forest after his mother died in a car accident sometime 5 years ago. They live in the forest for more than 5 years. The boy also said he and his father lived in a tent and in clay bunkers.
Authorities are now carefully investigating the accuracy of the boys’ story. The boy had lived with his father for the past 5 years wandering, the spokesperson Maass said. Then Maass continued by saying we don’t really know where the boy exactly means.
The boy doesn’t remember any information about his family. He used the aid of a compass walking for 2 straight weeks before he arrived in Berlin after his father died in woods because of a bad fall. The boy remembered his father’s first name, Ray, but could not remember his last name. He speaks English fluently and only few words in the German Language. Maass however did not give any information about the boy’s accent. Photos and any other information were not yet released by authorities in Berlin.
