Madonna’s Epic Performance at Super Bowl Intermission Upstaged by Lesser-Known Singer Steals Spotlight
There had been a provocation during the halftime show at the Super Bowl where the celebrated singer Madonna chickened out, but guest singer M.I.A. was just too happy to oblige. She confidently appeared to offer the tens of millions of eager viewers the wrong finger, that is, the middle finger, instead of the gunshot moves that she usually does to accompany the line "I don't give a s---" in their new video entitled "Give Me All Your Luvin'."
Madonna had nothing more outrageous to offer herself presuming it was a family-friendly halftime show, instead she brought with her a lot of guest stars ever for the 15-minute medley. The guest stars include LMFAO, M.I.A., Nicki Minaj, and finally Cee Lo Green joining her on the 50-yard line.
There were also a lot of costumes and extras changes. First of all, with "Vogue," Madge (the nickname Madonna hates the most) walked like an Egyptian princess, casted with dozens of men who were dressed (or rather undressed) like gladiators and sexy slave girls.
Then it was followed with the medley of "Music" with LMFAO's almost salacious act on the bleacher with a tightrope jumper, rocking the songs "Party Rock Anthem" and "Sexy and I Know It".
While Pastor Cee Lo’s is singing "Like a Prayer," video screens showed phrases like "World Peace".
The entire football field appeared to get sucked into Madonna’s stage as an optical illusion ensued, and all the staging was all so impressively cinematic while Madonna was singing "I hear you call my name… and it feels like home."
Madge, as fans and media people call her, was looking unusually enraptured as she sang her signature song with the crowd cheering and the cheerleaders chanting "L-U-V...Madonna!"
