“Amazing Spider-Man” Teaser Footages Wow Fans

Sony Pictures gave fans the teaser on the latest sequel of the web-slinging superhero, which won’t be shown in U.S. theaters until July 3 of this year, at preview events held on Monday at various movie theaters in different cities including Berlin, Paris, Rome, Mexico City and Moscow, with the filmmakers and leading cast appearing in New York, Los Angeles, London and Rio de Janeiro.

The memorable event began with the debut showing of the 3-D full-length "Amazing Spider-Man" trailer, which will be shown in theaters this weekend. The trailer showed footage of the new actor who will portray as spider man Andrew Garfield as the awkward yet charming Peter Parker being bullied at school, trying out his new web-slinging equipment and fighting the villain Lizard high above the city of New York.

Filmmakers are giving the audience a new and interesting taste of the sequel as it will be shown for the first time unearthed scenes like starting off with Peter Parker and his parents, which is something movie goers have never seen before.

Andrew Garfield, who appeared to fans in New York, said Spider-Man is more than just a character, but a symbol that was once portrayed by Tobey Maguire and now by himself, and he hoped that he could do justice to the symbol of goodness and heroism.

Emma Stone now plays the hero’s love interest Gwen Stacey, which was once portrayed by Kirsten Dunst, while Rhys Ifans plays the villain Lizard.
