Products That Flopped in 2012
In spite of all the popularity and nice reviews, there are still products which cannot function as what is expected from them. They just somehow fail in the market in 2012.
Nokia Lumia 900 was one of these products. It was introduced to the public and was hailed as iPhone contender but it has some serious problems regarding its software. Some experts say that after the initial problems in its software, it will surely receive poor adoption from consumers.
Aside from Nokia Lumia 900, Ultrabook from Intel also did have problems in the market. Ashley Allen, managing director of 247wallst.com, said, “The problem is consumers don’t know what it is. The reality is most people have a notebook or a PC that for the most part they’re happy with and at this point there looking for something that’s even more portable like a tablet or even these highly equipped smartphones and so, the Ultrabook is a product looking for a market and… simply doesn’t have the cache to pull it off.”
There are still more products that did not meet the expectations of the market, resulting to problems and market failure. Before buying products, give time to see their reviews so that you will not encounter products that are just popular.
