Eddie Murphy - The Most Overpaid Actor in Hollywood

Eddie Murphy is one of the most overpaid actors according to the list published by Forbes. It seems that the motive behind Forbes’ reasoning was the fact that his career is almost gone.

Also, the recent movies he made were considered terrible by the critics, earning only $153 million on an estimated budget of $75 million.

Forbes made the list taking into consideration the past three films actors starred in that were featured in more than 2, 000 theaters and calculated the investment of the studio compared to the earnings the actors brought.

Since a movie has to earn twice its budget and the amount spent on marketing it seems that Eddie Murphy didn't make it with his last three movies. Forbes concluded that the actor only makes a profit of $ 2.30 for every $1 he earns, which is extremely low.

The next on the list was Katherine Heigl who brought only an av of $3-40 for each dollar she earned. The third in line was Reese Witherspoon and the forth was Sandra Bullock, both actresses with major success in the past.

However, just like Eddie Murphy their latest films aren't looking well so until they increase their profit, their career doesn't look good.
