Roethlisberger May Return To Steelers Front Lineup
Ben Roethlisberger could possibly return to Pittsburgh Steelers after an absence of about three weeks may seem miraculous, never the less the star quarterback is listed as probable for the game against San Diego this Sunday.
Mike Tomlin head coach for the Pittsburgh Steelers said that Roethlisberger would start in the Chargers match if and after practicing for a second straight day. Roethlisberger has been sidelined since the 12th of November with injuries to his right shoulder and ribs sustained in the win against the Kansas City Chiefs.
Byron Leftwich also fractured a rib while replacing Roethlisberger in the math against the Baltimore Ravens the following week. The match ended with the Steelers suffering a 13-10 loss.
Charlie Batch, the third-stringer, had his chance as starting quarter back against the Cleveland Browns, but that match ended in a loss as well. Batch, however, had a bit more luck in the 4th quarter comeback and win against the Ravens this past Sunday.
With Leftwich out for a while longer Batch may be a backup for Ben Roethlisberger for this Sunday’s game against the Chargers.
Injury related problems don’t stop with Roethlisberger here the Chargers as Taylor will probably miss the remainder of the regular season after last Sundays sprained ankle, ankle problems that will keep Woodley away from the field for a second straight game.
