Frank Ocean Will Not File Charges Against Chris Brown
No charges will be filed by R&B artist Frank Ocean against Chris Brown following the altercation between the two outside a recording studio in West Hollywood, California.
Ocean revealed through his Tumblr that when he was young, he thought that he may end up hurting a person who would jump on him. However, when he became older, he realized that he was not a killer. He said that he is a modern person and an artist, and he will be reasonable. No civil lawsuit or criminal charges will be filed. He added that forgiveness is wisdom.
A studio parking slot was the supposedly the reason why Chris Brown hit Frank Ocean on January 27.
Following the altercation, the R&B artist tweeted that he was jumped by Chris along with other people. He also wished that his dog, Everest, was with him. Ocean indicated that he also suffered a cut on his finger.
No statements were released by Brown following the incident. The two stars were nominated for a Grammy award this coming Sunday. Ocean was also scheduled to perform at the show.
Chris Brown is currently under probation for the 2009 assault of Rihanna, his former girlfriend. However the two have already reconciled.
Aside from Frank Ocean, Brown supposedly had a scuffled with Drake, a rapper, at a night club in New York last summer.
