Carrie Underwood Dress Comes To Life At Grammy Awards

The dress of Carrie Underwood seemed to take a life of its own during her performance at the Grammy Awards recently. Underwood initially stood still when she went up the stage for her performance. However, when she started belting out her hit song, “Blown Away”, the dress attracted as much attention as the performance itself.

Carrie Underwood revealed that with the number of great performances during the Grammy Awards, there are times when she wants to stand out. Due to this, the best way to attain this is through the dress, which created a nice environment.

The stylist team of Underwood gave its approval for the fabric on the dress, which was delivered straight from France. The entire process took around six days. A video production firm was also consulted to ensure that the projection technology utilized in making the dress change its pattern after few seconds will be compatible with the dress itself.

It took eighty hours and four people to finish the platinum ball gown of Theia couture. It consisted of ten yards of satin and was supported using around one hundred yards of crinoline and tulle. The corset inside contained numerous Swarovski crystals, which were embroidered by hand. The skirt of Carrie Underwood was also designed to make it compatible with the projection technology used to make the dress come to life.
