Bonnaroo Music Festival To Feature Impressive Lineup Of Performers
The upcoming Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival will have a number of celebrity performers when it will be held in June in Tennessee. The organizers of the event revealed that some of the performers include Wilco, Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers, Bjork, Mumford & Sons, and Paul McCartney.
Jeff Cuellar, the spokesman for the event, indicated that the current lineup of performers is the strongest in the history of the event. He added that basing on all the festivals that have been held so far, none of them ever brought Bjork, Mumford & Sons and Paul McCartney together in one event.
Similar to the Glastonbury Festival of Contemporary Performing Arts of Britain and the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival of California, Bonnaroo is considered as one of the best live music events held every year.
The annual event attracts around 100,000 fans to Manchester, Tennessee. The fans attend the show in order to watch the comedians, art, films and singers who perform during the event
Also included in this year’s event are Wu-Tang, David Byrne & St. Vincent, “Weird Al” Yankovic, Dwight Yoakam, ZZ Top, and R. Kelley. The concert lineup for the upcoming event was announced recently.
Tickets for the upcoming Bonnaroo event will be available through the website of the event on February 23.
