The New York Knicks Try To Stay In The Game Against The Pacers
With a possible return by Pablo Prigioni and a determined Jason Kidd, the New York Knicks will have to perform nothing short of a miracle to overcome the 3-1 deficit and surpass the Indiana Pacers in the Eastern Conference semifinals.
Coach Mike Woodson said that all he wants from his players is to “shoot with confidence” in Thursday's game.
The Pacers can finish the Knicks’ season this Thursday with a win, and the odds of them doing sp are quite high especially as the New Yorkers seem to have one of the weakest offensive lines in a long time.
With an average of 88 points and a 41.2 percent shooting, the Knicks hope all will change when they play in front of their home crowd. This being said, the Pacers have no problem performing in New York, and they proved that when they won game 1 of the series.
With only 8 teams in NBA history managing to come back from a 3-1 difference to win the league, the Knicks appear confident, and while neither the coach nor the lineup of superstars has a clear plan, there is a clear determination in the New York camp to not let things end this easily.
However, if the New York Knicks don’t manage to turn their game around the Indiana Pacers can celebrate their first conference final in nearly a decade.
