Pierce Brosnan’s Daughter Dies Of Cancer
Charlotte Brosnan, former James Bond actor Pierce Brosnan’s daughter has tragically died of the same disease that took her mother and grandmother.
Charlotte Brosnan was 41 years old and mother of two children when the ovarian cancer claimed her life. The same disease claimed Brosnan’s wife Cassandra Harris back in 1991, and her mother Charlotte who also succumbed to the same devastating disease.
A statement made by the actor said how his “darling daughter” has passed away on June the 28th at 2 p.m. due to ovarian cancer.
In the same statement, Brosnan said that his daughter was with her husband, Alex, her two children, Isabella and Lucas and her brothers Christopher and Sean.
The actor was busy filming a movie in Eastern Europe when news of his daughter’s condition made him rush to her bedside, before she passed away.
Cassandra Bond, Charlotte’s mother married Brosnan in 1980. The actor adopted her two children Charlotte and Christopher who he said in a later interview were “amazing” throughout his life.
Pierce Brosnan’s latest movie is a story about a man who falls in love with a hairdresser diagnosed with cancer, a role that Brosnan is sadly very familiar with and that has a lot of similar moments with the actors real life tragedy.
