Lindsay Lohan Requires Additional Sessions Following End Of Rehab

Although Lindsay Lohan ended the 90-day court-ordered rehab, she still has some work to do.

She was ordered to attend a three-times-a-week therapy session for the next sixteen months to prevent a relapse. The order was made by the judge who ordered her to go on rehab after a probation violation when she lied to police.

The decision came hours after the 27-year-old star completed her rehab at the Cliffside Malibu center. It was also recommended by the center where she successfully completed the treatment. The center indicated that the star should attend three 50-minute sessions each week even after her treatment was completed.

The letter from the center indicated that the clinical team agreed unanimously that if the sessions are not ordered by the court and the attendance of Lindsay Lohan is not verified each month, it will likely result to failure. The CEO and founder of Cliffside Malibu, Richard Taite, took into consideration the schedule of the actress. He proposed that the actress should be physically present in the sessions whenever is around, and through Skype or through the phone if she is not around.

Lindsay Lohan has been through rehab a number of times before. She also revealed earlier following a court ordered her to receive treatment that she thinks court-ordered rehab will not be beneficial for her. She indicated that continually sending her to rehab was useless. She indicated that the first few court-ordered rehab sessions were a waste of time.

However, the attitude of Lindsay Lohan may have changed as Cliffside Malibu revealed that they were happy with the progress of the star during her treatment at the center.
