The studio reportedly talked to the author about making a movie out of “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.” However, she did not like the idea of having someone else as the screenwriter of the movie. In the end, Rowling offered a plot to the studio.

J.K. Rowling said she wants to protect the fictional universe that she created. She also indicated that she was already knowledgeable about Newt. She added her love for the wizard is shown by the way she made Rolf, grandson of Potter, to Luna Lovegood. Lovegood is among her favorite characters in the series.

The project will be based on a community of wizards and witches around the world. She added that it can be considered s an extension of the world of wizards. Fans of the series will be familiar with the customs and laws of the magical society. However, the story of Newt will is set around seven decades before the start of the saga of Harry Potter.

Warner Bros. indicated that the upcoming movie will be the first in a series of movies. Aside from the new franchise, the studio has a new agreement with the author of the Harry Potter series that will include other projects, such as video games and tourist attractions.
