Anna Gunn Gives Her Opinion On Skyler

After winning her first award for her role as Skyler, Anna Gunn revealed that she was glad that some people like the wife of Walter White. The “Breaking Bad” actress may have had some difficulty in playing the role of the often-mocked character of the show.

The character is continuously criticized by fans through Twitter in each episode. This comes despite the critical acclaim that character received. The actress may not be bothered by these criticisms after she won the best supporting actress award for at the Emmy Awards recently. She revealed to reporter backstage that she was overwhelmed. She added that she was happy that some people like Skyler.

Anna Gunn seemed hesitant when she was asked to comment on the general dislike for the character that she plays on the show. She said haters of Skyler will simply dislike the character and it is not in any way connected to her.

As the end of series approaches, the actress gave some inputs on the latest episode. The episode shows that her character has started to develop a backbone. The actress said that she was very excited since the boys are the ones who perform stunts in the series. She was describing how her character stabbed the hand of Walter, who is played by Bryan Cranston. She considers it as the climactic stage of everything that Skyler endured.

Anna Gunn said that Skyler finally drew the line and said that no other member of the family will get hurt. She added that it was a relieving and cathartic situation.
