Michael Douglas and Catherzine Zeta Jones aren’t the only big Hollywood couple that are going through a rough patch as Richard Gere and Carey Lowell are rumored to be getting a divorce too.

The two have been together for 11 years and have a 13 year-old son together. They have apparently been spending more and more time apart and have separated, with the divorce being the natural way of ending the relationship.

The reason behind the split seems to be the different lifestyles the two want. While Gere, who is 64 years old and was one of Hollywood’s biggest heartthrobs prefers a quieter lifestyle, his soon to be ex-wife and former Bond girl of 52 years likes to socialize.

Rumors that the two might be going through a rough patch have surfaced for months, especially as they haven’t been photographed together since January 2013, while attending the Golden Globes.

The split up could pose a very pertinent question regarding who gets what, especially as the two bought, since they were married, a 12,000 square foot property which is believed to be worth close to $65 million. Add that to Gere’s supposed net worth of 45 million and things could get pretty messy even with the apparently civilized tone of the split up so for.
