Understanding a Man’s Sense of Style Today

All men have their certain style, as do women. However, many women are confused with the way men dress. This article tells about what a man’s style says about him so that more women will have an easier time understanding.

When men wear suits

Women love a man who can pull off a sleek-looking suit; however, when a man wears a suit, what does it say about him? This means several different things:

Classy – He likes to dress in a suit and go to work. Then after work he likes to head to the bar and get a drink (usually scotch on the rocks, not a “frou-frou” drink such as a margarita or martini.). This man does not care if he is by himself, or if he has a date for the night. He is confident enough to get any woman that he wants; however, chooses not to because he has respect for himself and does not want to waste his time on someone that will not be there the morning after.

Cares about his appearance – Which also means he cares about the opinion of others. This has its advantages and disadvantages. He wants people to look at him with respect and be impressed with his looks; however, this could be a bad thing if he ALWAYS had to look good. Maybe he cares too much about what other people think.

Willing to put in the effort – When a man spends time on himself to make himself look good, it should mean a lot to a woman. Think of it this way, if he spends an hour on his own appearance, how long do you think he will spend on you? Even though this is a nice characteristic to have, women like it when a man can run to the gas station without showering

Screams success – Let’s face it, every woman wants a man who can pay his own bills, buy his own car, and pay for his own home! In order to be bale to do these things, a man must be successful. When a man wears a suit, it screams success, meaning, this man is very successful; maybe he is a corporate owner, lawyer, or a doctor.

The T-shirt and Jeans look

This look is not for every man; however, the ones who can pull it off look great in a well-fitted pair of jeans with a perfectly fitted T-shirt. Some women like the ripped jeans look, some women like the baggy look, and some women like the no holes, straight-legged fit. A man who wears T-shirt and jeans says they are relaxed, laid back, down to earth, and depending on how well your jeans and T-shirt fit, it says you are not afraid to be sexy.

The preppy Polo look

Obviously, “preppy” polo T-shirts make a man look young. College students or boys who belong in a frat house usually wear Polos. A “man” is not supposed to wear Polos. If a grown man wears polo, women are going to assume that he has children that are now in college and he is borrowing their T-shirts. Either that or they do not how to dress themselves. Women like a man who knows how to dress. It shows that the man is independent and did not have his mother dress him all of his life.
