Browns May Go With Jason Campbell As Starting Quarterback

Cleveland Browns coach Rob Chudzinksi decided to give starting quarterback Brandon Weeden a rest and start the match against the undefeated Kansas City Chiefs with veteran Jason Campbell.

This is the third time that coach Chudzinksi changed the starting quarterback after giving a chance to both Brandon Weeden and Brian Hoyer whose season ended on the 3rd of October after a knee injury.

Chudzinksi said that it wasn't an easy decision to make but that he had to put the good of the team in front. He added that this is a big opportunity for Campbell and he is excited to see what he does with it.

Weeden didn't manage to find his rhythm after a promising season was put on hold by a sprained thumb. After his comeback he didn't manage to regain the same form and had weak performances against Detroit and especially the Green Bay Packers a game in which he completed just 17 out of 42 passes. Coach Chudzinksi said that his decision was based on Campbell’s experience and leadership as well as his mobility and arm strength.

Campbell isn't guaranteed the starting position past the Kansas City Chiefs game said Chudzinksi who said he will go with the quarterback that gives his team the best change to win.
