Alec Baldwin Stalker Sentenced To 30 Day Custody
Genevieve Sabourin, the French-Canadian actress that is accused of stalking actor and talk show host Alec Baldwin has been sentenced to 30 days in custody after being held in contempt of court during a case in New York.
The reason behind her sentence seems to be her court room manor as she interrupted Baldwins’s testimonial several times shouting out and calling him a liar while telling his wife to “go to hell”.
Sabourin met Baldwin in 2000 during a dinner in New York the actor confesses he took her to. She was arrested in April 2012 after she showed up unexpectedly at Baldwin’s apartment just days after the actor filled stalking charges.
This Wednesday, Sabourin sighed and violently gesticulated during the hearings while at times expressing her impatience and feelings toward the actor out loud. She added that she “does not trust her lawyer” just a couple of moments before being arrested by court officers.
Sabourin’s lawyers have released a press statement in which they confirmed the 30 day incarceration of their client but declined any other comments.
Alec Baldwin has repeatedly denied any relationship with Sabourin, of both emotional or sexual nature and says he and his wife have been the victims of “vicious attacks” on Twitter and of several unwanted phone calls.
