Rita Ora Joins “50 Shades of Grey” Cast
While the filming process started with a huge scandal regarding the casting choice for the lead male role, the “50 Shades of Grey” big screen production is moving along nicely. All things started when “Sons of Anarchy” star Charlie Hunnam surprised everyone when he was cast as the lead actor only to surprise fans again by turning down the part in a what was a veritable media nightmare for producers of the movie.
Since that rocky start things have progressed nicely with the cast being completed by by Jamie Dornan as billionaire Christian Grey, Eloise Mumford who will play Kate, the best friend of the Anastasia Steel who will be played by Dakota Johnson.
The cast is rounded up by Luke Grimes who will play Elliot Grey, Christian’s brother, Victor Rasuk who will play Jose, a close friend of Anastasia’s, and Jennifer Ehle who will play Carla Steel, Anastasia’s mother.
Today, the latest member to join the cast of the highly anticipated movie is 23-year-old British singer Rita Ora, who will play Mia Grey, Christian Grey’s adopted sister.
Rita Ora confirmed the casting news via Twitter this Monday morning. This will be by far the biggest role the singer has got after appearing briefly in “Fast and the Furious 6” and in “Spivs”.
