Beyonce And Husband Jay Z Are Going For A Vegan Lifestyle
Beyonce and Jay Z one of the most powerful couples in the music and entertainment industry are choosing a rather unorthodox method of getting in better shape this holiday season, and that is going vegan.
The two will undergo the “22 Days Challenge”, which basically means they will have to give up any sort of animal based products including dairy, eggs and even honey. The point of the diet is to change their exercise and dietary routines and improve their overall health.
The move was suggested by one of Jay Z’s close friend and expert physiologist Marco Borges. Jay Z made the news public on his Times blog saying that he will kick off the new diet on the 3rd of December, just one day before his 44th birthday. He called the vegan diet a “plant based” diet and said that he chose to do this after he followed Borges’ advice and had a vegan breakfast every morning. Surprised by how well he felt with the new meal plan he decided to go deeper into the vegan diet and try the 22 day challenge.
The rapper and business man also said that it will be a physical and spiritual cleanse after which he asked readers and fellow vegans to help him out by recommending some good vegan restaurants.
Jay Z ended his Times post by mentioning that his wife Beyonce will be joining him on his culinary adventure.
