The upcoming Zack Snyder movie, Batman vs. Superman, will have Gal Gadot playing the role of Wonder Woman. The 28-year-old Israeli actress is popular for her role in three Fast & Furious movies as Gisele Harabo. She also played the girlfriend of Vince in Entourage. She also played the role of the ex-girlfriend of Tom Cruise on Knight and Day.

Gadot will play the role of the iconic Amazon princess with Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill playing the roles of Batman and Superman, respectively. Snyder said Gal Gadot is an amazing actress makes her the ideal person for the role of the iconic heroine.

The model-turned-actress is also a former Ms. Israel in 2004. She also served the Israeli army between 2005 and 2007, which makes her ideal for the role of Diana Prince or Wonder Woman.

The upcoming movie will be the first feature film to have the character of Wonder Woman in it. The character was described by Snyder as a fan favorite and among the most popular female characters in the DC Universe. Although the screenplay does not yet show it, the character was linked to Bruce Wayne in the storyline of the comic.

Perry White will be played by Laurence Fishburne while Amy Adams will play Lois Lane. The movie is expected to hit the big screen by July 17, 2015.

A tweet by Gal Gadot showed her excitement for copping the role of Wonder Woman. However, before the latest Twitter post, Gadot devoted the posts to her late costar on Fast & Furious, Paul Walker. Walker died in a car crash on November 30. She tweeted on December 2 that she wished it was a bad dream together with a picture of the late actor. Gal Gadot also re-tweeted a Twitter post of Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.
