Quentin Tarantino Stops “Hateful Eight” After Script Leak

Legendary director Quentin Tarantino has stopped work on what was his latest project, a Western themed movie entitled “The Hateful Eight” after the script was apparently leaked. Tarantino said he found out about the leak when various agents started contacting him out of the blue to pitch their clients for roles.

In a recent interview the director said he had only showed the script to six people and that the leak has made him very depressed. The Oscar winning director also added that he had just finished the first draft of the script which he intended to shoot next winter, in about a year's time from now.

He says that the script will be published as a book with plans to make it into a movie being delayed indefinitely. The 50-year-old director said that he had only given the script to three actors one of which was Tim Roth who also worked with Tarantino on his first two movies, “Reservoir Dogs” and “Pulp Fiction”.

The director said he knows for a fact Roth didn't leak the script, however, one of the other actors did give the script to his agent for a read leading to everyone in Hollywood having a copy. The soon to be published script was initially announced last November during Jay Leno’s show.
