Motley Crue To Retire After Latest Tour
Motley Crue, the heavy metal legends announced that they will retire at the end of their current tour. The decision to split the band up seems to be unanimous among the band members. Lead singer, Vince Neil said that he and his band mates Nikki Sixx, Tommy Lee and Mick Mars want to put an end to Motley Crue while on top.
They will do a remarkable 72 concerts in the United States and Canada playing the songs that made the band one of the most successful and popular in the history of the genre. Motley Crue became a name on the heavy metal scene in the early 1980's. During the last decades they have played several world tours and released numerous albums, the most popular being “Theatre of Pain”, “Saints of Los Angeles”, “Girls, Girls, Girls”, “Motley Crue” and “Generation Swine”.
While fans will surely be disappointed to hear that their favorite band will be disbanding, they will have the opportunity to see them live in concert, performing their greatest hits.
During their 72 concert tour they will be joined by Alice Cooper. In a recent interview the experienced rocker declared that with him and Motley Crue on tour, concert participants are “going to get rock and roll”.
