Jimmy Fallon's First Week Will Be Star Studded

As Jimmy Fallon is officially named the host of The Tonight Show after long time host Jay Leno retired last Friday, it seems his first week's schedule will be filled with A-listers. The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon will first air on the 17th of February on NBC and will have a start studded week as the network seems to be determined to back Fallon.

According to unofficial sources, the five days of shows will have a carefully balanced list of A-list entertainers and musical performers. The first show will feature Will Smith and U2 as musical guests. Tuesday’s show will have Jerry Seinfeld, "Bridesmaids" funny woman Kristen Wiig and Lady Gaga as the musical performer. Wednesday’s guests will be Bradley Cooper and Tim McGraw, who will play a song off his new album.

Thursday’s show will give off a presidential feel with First Lady Michelle Obama and Will Ferrell being invited on the couch while Arcade Fire will represent the musical guests. Friday will mark the spectacular end of Fallon’s first week with his close friend Justin Timberlake as guest.

In a Billboard article about him, Fallon said he received no direction or instructions from NBC execs regarding the show, also mentioning that he has full creative license. The show will premiere on the 17th of February at midnight after the Sochi Olympics.
