New Motorola Moto X Hinted
The acquisition of Motorola by Lenovo from Google raised concerns that the popular reasonably-priced devices of the company, like the Motorola Moto X, will not be manufactured anymore. However, it appears the flagship smartphone of the company may still become available in the market.
A Q&A was conducted by Motorola through Twitter during the Mobile World Congress recently. It allowed consumers to ask about the line of devices of the company with one user asking for the release date of the latest version of its flagship device. The company simply responded to wait until the later part of summer.
The flagship smartphone of Motorola was meant to go up against its high-end competitors, such as the Apple iPhone 5, HTC One and Samsung Galaxy S4. Among the features of the Motorola Moto X are its fast camera, voice command capabilities and a number of personalized designs. It is also costs less than its rivals with its $400 no-contract price tag.
The price tag of the smartphones of Motorola may also appear to remain the same. The company revealed that everyone should have the opportunity of acquiring great smartphones after it was asked if it aims to put high-priced devices into the market. It added that the days of smartphones priced at $600 are already numbered.
The company also revealed that it will continue to use the Android operating system despite being purchased already by Lenovo when it was ask if it will take other operating systems into consideration. It revealed that it will have to compromise if it aims to use other operating systems.
Although the company also revealed during the Q&A that its Moto X is set to be launched in Australia and India, it did not reveal any immediate plans of unveiling the device into the market in China.
