Jodie Foster Ties The Knot With Alexandra Hedison

Jodie Foster recently got married to her photographer-girlfriend Alexandra Hedison. The wedding between the two happened over the weekend.

The photography career of Hedison is highlighted by shows in Los Angeles and New York. She was also a part of Showtime’s “The L Word,” a lesbian-focused drama, as Dylan Moreland for three seasons.

Hedison and Foster started dating last summer. Prior to her relationship with Foster, Alexandra Hedison also dated Ellen Degeneres before they broke up in 2004.

Foster has been avoiding questions on her sexuality for some time already. She finally made a revelation of sorts during the Golden Globe Awards last year as she thanked her former girlfriend, Cydney Bernard, when she accepted her lifetime achievement award, the Cecil B. DeMille Award.

Foster revealed that she felt the need to make a revelation that she never aired in public, which made her anxious. She said she came out some time ago when she was still a young girl. She said she opened up to family, close friends and colleagues before she gradually introduced her to everyone and everyone she met.

Even as Foster added that had to attend to the need for privacy, she called Bernard, with whom Foster acted as co-parent of two sons. She said that Bernard was her former partner in love. The relationship of the couple ended in 2008.

The relationship between Foster and Hedison started to gain attention when they were photographed together in Los Angeles at Fox Studios last summer. A picture of the two was also taken while they had dinner with some friends.

Jodie Foster and Alexandra Hedison also attended the opening of the one-man show of Alan Cummings last year in New York, but no photographs were taken.
