Demi Lovato Performed Cuts From Latest Album On SNL

Demi Lovato was a recent guest of the Saturday Night Live. She appeared during the Tracy Morgan-hosted episode of the show and conquered the stage with two rousing performances. The singer belted out three cuts from her newly-released LP Confident in her two spots on the show.

The first was a shortened version of "Cool for the Summer," which was produced by Max Martin. The song segued into “Confident.” Her performance was supported by a complete band and horn section.

The video for “Confident,” which was directed by Robert Rodriguez, featured the singer going up against actress Michelle Rodriguez. The singer returned later in the episode for “Stone Cold,” which showcased her vocal range in a moving performance of the ballad.

Aside from her musical performances on Saturday Night Live, the singer also joined a sketch where Morgan took on his Astronaut Jones persona. On the other hand, Demi Lovato played the role of a ruler of the people of Mars who provided sustenance to the astronaut character of Morgan.
