Arnold Schwarzenegger love child delays dad’s film comeback

The Arnold Schwarzenegger love child scandal has derailed the Hollywood comeback of the "Terminator" star. In a statement released Thursday, the actor and former California governor indicated he is prioritizing his divorce from wife Maria Shriver.

The divorce case may offer a huge windfall for Shriver as payback for her erstwhile husband Arnold Schwarzenegger love child admission.

"Gov. Schwarzenegger is focusing on personal matters and is not willing to commit to any production schedules or guidelines," the statement from the "Governator" said.

People magazine has learned that Maria Shriver has picked noted divorce lawyer Laura Wasser to handle the case triggered by her ex-partner Arnold Schwarzenegger love child fiasco. Wasser had represented other celebrities such as Christina Aguilera and Mel Gibson's wife Robyn. She also authored the child-custody deal between pop star Britney Spears and former husband Kevin Federline.
