  • The development of transport infrastructure is vital to Morocco’s economic growth. In January 2016, the African Development Bank granted a loan worth MAD1.1 billion (US$112.3 million) until 2020 to develop rail infrastructure projects in the country.
  • According to, the energy and utilities construction market is expected to record a CAGR of 6.38% over the forecast period, as compared with 4.90% registered during the period. Market growth is expected to be supported by the government’s aim to reduce reliance on energy imports.
