Pink and Hart Welcome New Baby

Singer Pink gave birth to a baby girl on Thursday, according to various media outlets. Pink and husband Carey Hart named their first child, Willow Sage Hart. Prior to giving birth, Pink said the following to her followers on Twitter: ““New Moon in Gemini today 🙂 a good time to start something new…. Also called the Honey Moon. #intoit.’

After that tweet was sent, it was revealed that Pink had given birth to a baby girl, and she confirmed it in another tweet: “We are ecstatic to welcome our new beautiful healthy happy baby girl, Willow Sage Hart. She’s gorgeous, just like her daddy. #beyondblessed.” Last year, she told Access Hollywood that her on-and-off again beau would make a great father: “He’s wanted to be a dad since — I mean, we’ve been together nine years on and off, and he brought it up two weeks after we met. So, he’s wonderful… He’s going to be a really, really cute daddy.”

Pink officially confirmed that she was pregnant in an appearance on the syndicated Ellen DeGeneres Show in November of 2010. “I didn’t want to talk about it because I was just really nervous and I have had a miscarriage before,” she told the talk show host. She added,”but if I was going to talk about it with anyone, it was going to be with you.”
