It’s a Boy for Natalie Portman
Natalie Portman has given birth to a baby boy. He is Natalie Portman’s and fiancé Benjamin Millepied’s, choreographer of “Black Swan”, first born baby.
Portman's official website posted an "It's a boy!" banner, oddly crediting the news about her first child to People magazine. People first posted the announcement Tuesday night.
It was December when Portman and Millipied announced both their engagement and that they were expecting a baby.Portman, 30, was born in Jerusalem as Natalie Hershlag. Her father was a doctor and her mother, an artist.
Millepied, 34, was born in Bordeaux, France, and raised in Senegal. He had a cameo role in the movie which he choreographed, “Black Swan”.
Portman studied at Harvard University and one of the smartest, most independent thinkers in Hollywood."I'm going to college. I don't care if it ruined my career. I'd rather be smart than a movie star."
"When I'm working they pretty much treat me like an adult, but then when there's a break everyone else goes to their trailers and drinks beer and I like, go to school."
"I'm ready to ditch the movies and keep at the books. There are so many other things, and it would feel limiting to say, 'Acting is it for me.'... I love psychology. That's what I'm studying right now. It would probably be difficult, because of my current occupation, to become a clinical psychologist, but I could certainly do research. And I'd like to have a family someday, too."
