Actor Larry Hagman Confirms Cancer

Larry Hagman, actor, has confirmed that he has been diagnosed by doctors with cancer. Hagman announced Friday but said the cancer is still at the early stage, very common and treatable as promised by the doctors.

Hagman has just turned 80 years old last month. He is known for his role in primetime TV series Dallas and a role as an astronaut in the sitcom I Dream of Jeannie.  Hagman has been preparing for the past few days for the remake later this month of hit TV series Dallas.

With his role in the series, he could get away with anything he wants through blackmail, bribery and adultery. But I could not get away with cancer, I was caught, Hagman said. Hagman has also confirmed he will undergo a series of medical treatment for his cancer but the type of treatment was not yet been disclosed.

Health scare is not new to Hagman’s career as this has been considered the 2nd one. In 2003, he told the press about his struggle to fight cirrhosis and the liver transplant that lasted for 16 hours that had saved his dear life in 1995. The producer of Dallas, Warner Horizon Television, has announced its support to Hagman in a statement issued Friday.
